Hello once again,

I was looking through my emails today and I came across this one from Paul.
Who is Paul you ask and what does he have to do with me?

Well Paul is someone that will really benefit you greatly.  Why?  Well there
is a simple answer to His question.  The reason that he will benefit you
is because he is the type of person that will drive me to continue to do my best to
deliver only the best I can to you as my subscriber.

Here is his email to me:

Jeff,

Just a quick note, excuse the intrusion.
A lil note for ya, you’ve earned your own
file in my inbox. I just thought I’d share
that with you. Not for any other reason than
to say you’re doing a great job.
I guess the question is how we can as marketers
have enough impact on people to the point where
they do the same thing.
So much of the influx of info just gets dumped.
But for people to actually want to save our
emails, that’s priceless.

When I read this email once again I was finding myself in a place of complete AWE!  My emails actually are being saved by someone?  This is something that totally humbled me once again.  My response back to Paul to his question he asked was this.

Paul,

 Intrusion?   Never.
I am honored to have my own folder. And thank you for your
confidence. It is people like you that will drive me to
continue trying to do my best.
The only thing I can see that has worked so far is to try
and be real. I think that is more valuable than the product we sell itself.

If there is one thing that I have learned over the last month and a half that seems
to be the number 1 key to success in Internet Marketing, it is one word. RELATIONSHIP!
I really tried to get this across in my layoffyourboss package.  But I know that if I knew thenwhat I know now about the importance of relationship building I would have really driven the point a lot harder than I did.

I have had people send me emails telling me that they did not buy my product until they actually received a few emails from me proving to them that there was going to be someoneon the other end that would respond back, and respond in a way that I might actually careabout them.

Now I have gotten literally hundreds of emails that have required a response.  I started out writing this huge response back to some until I figured out I was going to do nothing more in my day other than writing responses.  So now they sometimes are just a couple sentences or even a couple one line comments.  I find these do just as well.

Once again I have been told by several other marketers that I can’t spend so much time reading and responding to emails. Just answer support questions and the rest, delete, delete, delete.  I don’t know about you but that doesn’t set well with me.  If you take the time to write me, I feel like you deserve some kind of a response back even if it is a one line that simply says “Thank You”

I am investing a lot of time into figuring out and finding my way in this world of Internet Marketing.  I have to develope more products.  I have to figure out my way in blogging so I can use it to it’s full potential, I need to learn how to better promote products so that I can actually make a  living in-between products, I need to learn more tech skills, I need to learn how to write better articles, learn better traffic driving skills and the list goes on.  But for me the number one thing I am going to concentrate on while I learn the trade of IM is building better relationships with you. Without this I don’t think the rest will even matter.

Building better relationships is the key to every aspect of Internet Marketing. 

I have made it to the 25 year anniversary with my wife because of the relationship we have developed.  It took some time and still has room for improvement.  (Mostly on my part \':)\' ) For me to make it with you, it will take the same commitment. I know I still have room for lots of improvement. My  hope is that you feel I am off to a good start.

I am going to be starting a how to series in the near future on how you can start creating your product.  My plans are to start with creating your informational e-book.  Next after that will be on creating content with videos.  I will also do my best to go into more depth on relationship building.
