Discover the PASSION within YOU!
If you were to actually start writing an e-book today what
would be your topic?
It should be rather easy to know what you would write about.
But what I actually am finding out through emails I receive,
that people struggle with this. They ask me what they can do
to get started in creating their very own product. I tell them
just create an E-book like it is the easiest thing in the world
to do. They reply back, “What do I write about?”
Actually it should be easy because what you write about should
be the thing that you are most passionate about. The things we
are most passionate about will be the very things we are generally
most knowledgeable about.
So what is your Passion?
What kind of hobbies do you most enjoy?
Everyone has some kind of special interest.. or a passion.
we all know something that is of value to someone else…
something that others seek information on.
Focus on your passion and your interests and discover how
fun your work becomes.
What is it that you talk about?
What topics do you find yourself reading about?
What are your hobbies?
What do you do for fun?
What kind of talents do you have?
You need to set down and discover yourself.
One thing that may help you is to set down and take a look at your
day to day life experiences. Right under your nose may be the the most
valuable information that you can share. It is the things you deal with
on a constant basis that you gain the most knowledge from.
(example; My wife and I have 2 adopted special needs children. One
of them has fetal alcohol syndrome. Now someone can study on fetal
alcohol all they want and write all the books they want and still not be
able to tell someone what they are in for if they adopt a fetal alcohol
child. So if you wanted to know this kind of information before you
adopted a fetal alcohol child who would you go to…
The so called expert that studied it out of other books and case
studies, or from someone that actually experiences living with a
fetal alcohol child that they have raised from birth?)
You have so much valuable knowledge that you can share with
someone. everyday you learn things from your experiences that
someone else could benefit from. Share your knowledge. Take
time to discover what it is that makes you tick and then share it.
If you can’t figure it out by yourself, then go to family members
and friends and ask them. Ask your pastor, your Mom or Dad,
Aunts and Uncles, brothers and sisters. Get with someone who
knows you and ask them this question. “What do you see as my
biggest passion?”
Generally you will already know the answer to this question.
After-all it is your passion.
Now I know that there is a lot more to creating an E-book than
just discovering your passion, but I feel you need to make it a fun
experience. What a better way to get the most enjoyment out of
the experience than to write about the thing you enjoy the most.
Now in an email that most likely got you here and reading in the first
place I asked you for some help.
What I need you to do is to let me know what your number one passion is.
I am going to generate a list of passions that will help someone else
discover possible places to start. Sometimes things are easier to figure
out when we see examples right in front of us.
I look forward to reading your replies and comments.
Thank you so much.

The website robertburkhardtservices.com will be up on the 4th of July. You will be able to get a great freebie there. My main passion is an E-book that is being written. Later on in the summer the book will be available on a membership site and a discount site as well. Passion is great because it forces you to focus until you achieve success!!!

Hi Jeff
Very nice article I wrote about something like this back in 2004.
You can read the article at: http://ezine.wmgsystems.com/v1i2.htm
I stopped using this site a long time ago and left is for indexing
To answer your question, my biggest passion right now is IM. I don’t know
enough about it yet but, I am learning rapidly.
My other passion is programming. I study on a daily basis and continue learning
each and every day.
I know these are very competitive niches and would not be great for a newb.
Well, man, you asked and I shared.

My passion is helping people find alternative methods to treating their illnesses. But it is person specific so I don’t think an e-book would work. There is so much out there already about it.
My other passion is making people healthier by making dentures. Where do you go with that?

Hi Jeff,
My passion has nothing to do with internet marketing but with children.
I am always thinking of ways to stimulate learning in the 2-5 year old range. There are so many everyday opportunities you may not think of that can be awesome learning experiences. I also am constantly putting together “play sets” using everyday items and throw-aways. These imaginative play starters are fun to put together and to play with! I never considered writing an ebook about this but maybe I should:)

Jeff,
Jeff,
This is a lot harder then people might think. I have several passions. I think my first one is to earn a living online (IE Read “not to work for the MAN”. The other is caring for my two new German Shepherd Puppies.
I think my most recent topics of choice are stuck between the puppies and motivational. I have a book in the works that will cover the motivational issue.
But a few years ago I lost a beloved Malamute named Shadow. It took a lot for me to get back to the point wher eI could avoid crying over the thought of getting a new puppy. Now, the love they show is what I remember most about my Shadow. SO my future topics after my present book will likely cover some sort of pet arena. (even though it is a well targeted market)
Note to Richard - If you want an ebook on the topic of writing Ebooks, I’ll let you have the one I wrote earlier this year.

What makes me write an ebook is a passion for helping other people, so i
start by looking for a subject that a few people are struggling with and then
research that subject to gain the knowledge that is needed to put the problem into a freindly and easy to follow solution.
The passion to just want to help others can give you a vast amount of subjects to choose from….

I did a lot of soul searching when I took a course on traffic generation a month or so back, but I couldn’t find a niche that I was as passionate
about as the Internet Marketing Niche.
I know, it sounds positively insane, but I love to study the experts, and
see how they take a concept and make it convert into sales.
The alchemy of the product creation process is an amazing thing to study.
For me, at least. It makes my wife turn into a zombie when I talk to her
about it…
Jeff, it was great meeting you in Atlanta at the GYPD workshop, and I
am very impressed with your product… My subscribers that purchased
it are still raving about it!
Have an amazing day!

At the encouragement of friends like you, with extremely common interests globally, I will do what I do now, on a greater scale with more mobility: helping children to recognize their own innate powers in more locations, in greater numbers over much less time. The difference: more peace of mind. I’m in the process of doing what I love: fulfilling a chosen purpose. A self-sustaining, self-perpetuating online business will inspire others to accomplish the same for themselves and easily generate figures I’ve not ‘feared’ for some time now. ‘Value’, in human terms is relative; we need only be clear in our intentions, and the rest follows. This is where an understanding of ‘wealth’ begins. We are all students and teachers; ‘we teach what we need to learn’.
Have found out through mediums I’m sure we have all seen in one form or another (thus our being here), that great accomplishments are a team effort by those who have been through what we wish to prevent from occurring with others. When we feel from the depths of our souls the same feelings when seeing a child cry from a hurt that was not a necessary life lesson, but harm that was of no service to them, the result of indifference or apathy from others, or worse, the pain that rises to the surface of our skin and surpasses any remotely comparable physical pain is a calling in and of itself, though not for everyone who feels it, thus our differences. Now that techniques can become simplified; there’s no reason not to freely empower those whom we know can give of their gifts even more than we could have in our lifetimes, from a much earlier start in theirs.
There can be great triumph in ‘differences’, as great power comes from the combining of individual strengths in creating a greater whole in the spirit of empowering others to do the same. My immediate dream includes the healing of a family, demonstrating these truths, that they may understand within themselves what this may mean to them, that they will replace fear with freedom, to love and give more to those within their spheres: the ones they will meet in their travels going forward, in continuation. When this is not within our immediate grasp or cannot be facilitated peacefully in the moment, a child is always indirectly affected, and can be prevented. Many thanks.

Prefice: not trying to start any religious prob here!
Linda K and Deb L, is that not why we do what we do?
If God did not give us the power of choice, would we EVER do the things we
ENJOY doing?
We help because we can. We show others how to do it because we can.
I have soooooo missed on this simple fact for soooooo long, I need to
rethink what I am doing. I CAN so I SHOULD!!
Thanks Linda and Deb for bringing this to light!
And…..Thanks Jeff for this blog since I may never have seen this.

I guess I should really tell you all what some of my Passions and hobbies are. It is amazing how much alot of us have in common. My first and foremost Passion is God, without him I would just plain be lost. My second passion is my family my wife of 25 years and my 6 wonderful children.
I love being a children’s pastor at our church. I love to sing. Mostly in Church, but have done several weddings and other occassions. I have a puppet ministry, I love gardening, Also did floral designing for a time right after high school and occasionally do weddings for close family. It all startred as a bet by a freind. It is amazing the things you can do when you put your heart into it. I raise chickens and a few ornamental phesants and mallard ducks. My newest passion of course is what I am doing now. Getting to know you through Internet Marketing. Keep up the Great posts everyone.
God Bless
Jeff
