Jeff Wellman’s Layoff Your Boss Marketing

Hey I am here in San Fransisco for the world IM event.  It is absolutly fantastic.

I am meeting so many Marketers that I have never had the privaledge to meet before.  But do you want to know the best part of it all?

I am meeeting many tat are coming up to me and saying Hey Jeff I am on your List.  When I ask what they are doing I am blwn away to find that they are really trying to make things happen.

What about you though?  What are you doing right nw to make your dream become a reality so that you can start giving back to someone else?

I asked a few weeks ago for someoe to step up to the plate ad give me some content to post on our blog.  Well Tim from from Mylaysia as I like to call him stepped up.  He wrote this article for your enjoyment this week.  I would like to thank him personally for the great job.  I really appreciate so much everyone so much.  I wish I could met each one personally and thank them. but I know that probably will not happen..  But when I do meet you some day please let me know who you are and what you do.

“Get It Going” with ‘junckster’

Hi everyone. This entry in Jeff’s blog is being penned by a guest blogger, Tim Junck. I’ve been going by ‘junckster’ for years. If you’re curious, my nickname is pronounced like “youngster” – I’m American, but the pronunciation is German. Sad to say, I probably no longer look as young as the Drill Instructor Jeff told us about recently. While Jeff is busy making the most of the networking and learning and personal growth out in San Fran, I’m writing to you from the comfort of my home office. I guess my guest appearance is partly a situation of good timing – Jeff gets to do two things at once – attend the Internet Marketers World Main Event and still get some great info out to all of you.

So let me tell you a bit about myself. To begin with, I once was just a guy that got onto Jeff’s calls. That was back when he was releasing Lay Off Your Boss. But I guess I stood out a bit when I said that I was calling from Malaysia. You know – one of the places hit by that tsunami a few years back.

So what do I do, besides live in an exotic location? Ah, VERY glad you asked! Let’s see – I’m actually doing various things. But they all fit into this general heading: I am helping people get the mindset, skills and some review/guidance/a friendly ear as they are getting their start in Internet Marketing. I want them to “get it going!” What I’d ask you to do is to look at this from my perspective for a minute: I’m building myself a business and full-time Internet income via writing and talking on the VOIP phone!

How about you? What do you want to get paid to do? I hope you have thought about that. If not, I’ve got some things that can help you to daydream, and to design a better “work” life for yourself. When you’re ready to start building that new work life for yourself, Jeff and I will both be able to give you a hand! Of course, we also want to you build a BUSINESS mindset; we’re not real keen on the long-term prospects of the employee lifestyle.

Leave a comment here, or come comment on my blogs. I know that Jeff is preparing a lot of great videos to help you out. But sometimes you just can’t quite put the pieces together without talking to someone. How about you – would live calls help you to figure things out? Do you sometimes just want someone to help you to decide what to work on next?

Quick side note – I read this in an email from Jeff a while back. I liked it a lot!

Word of advice: Never say you will never do something.  You will find that is what you will end up doing When you decide what your goal is, and the motivation behind that goal becomes clear, everything else suddenly becomes unimportant details. All that matters is moving from where you in the right direction, and arriving at that goal Right?

Hope to hear from you all. It won’t be long before I’ve got more details of my new membership site. It should be ready for a small number of people in less than a month. And yes, Jeff did make me promise that I’d fix all of you up with something special. Don’t worry about that. He’s VERY persuasive, as I’m sure you already know. Where Jeff is strong on the business side of things, I lean a bit more towards the technical things.
